About Us

My name is Yvonne

I was born and grew up on the beautiful island of Guam, surrounded by culture, family, and creativity. At nine years old, I moved to California, where my world expanded — but my love for expressing myself through fashion stayed constant. Clothing became my way of celebrating individuality and confidence.

I come from a big, close-knit family — eight siblings on my father’s side, two sisters on my mother’s side, and a large extended family that continues to be a source of strength and joy. Today, I’m blessed to live in Georgia alongside two of my sisters, Celeste and Sherina, who moved here with their families. We remain incredibly close, and family continues to be at the heart of everything I do.

I’m also fortunate to share life with my wonderful and supportive husband, Chris, and my three children — Nico, Carlie, and Mina — who inspire me every day. Their encouragement and love are woven into the foundation of this boutique, making this journey deeply meaningful.

A New Beginning After a Lifelong Career in Corporate Retail

Before starting this boutique, I spent many years in the corporate retail world, gaining experience in sales, marketing, analytics, category management, merchandising, and national account leadership. My career eventually grew into a Director of Retail Sales role, where I supported large retail programs, managed my own financial P&L, and led channel initiatives across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Along the way, I also developed extensive experience in importing product and private brand development, collaborating with global manufacturing partners across China and Taiwan. Those years not only strengthened my understanding of sourcing, product quality, and supply chain operations, but also allowed me to build lifelong friendships with the teams I worked with overseas — relationships that deeply shaped my appreciation for the industry.

After many years of dedicating myself to my career, I experienced an unexpected layoff — a difficult moment, but one that ultimately opened a meaningful new door. It gave me the space to pause, reflect, and rethink the kind of life and work I wanted moving forward.

For the first time in decades, I had the space to choose my own path —
a path that aligned with family, creativity, balance, and purpose.
A path that allowed me to pour my experience into something truly my own.

Why I Created Blush & Willow Boutique

Blush & Willow was born from a lifelong love of fashion and a desire to curate pieces that feel feminine, modern, soft, elevated, intentional, and approachable. Style has always been my way of expressing who I am — and women often stop me to ask where I found the unique, comfortable, standout pieces I wear.

Many of my favorite finds have come from small boutiques discovered while traveling, visiting my daughter in Colorado, or exploring different cities for work. I’ve always gravitated toward pieces that feel special — the kind you don’t see everywhere, but immediately make you feel confident, stylish, and uniquely yourself.

Blush & Willow was created to bring that experience home — a place where women can finally find the expressive, effortless pieces I love to wear myself, without the frustration of “I found this out of state” or “it’s from a boutique you can’t easily get to.”

I also want this boutique to reflect the different styles within my own family. My daughters — Carlie (26) and Mina (16) — each have their own vibe, and I envision building collections that speak to women across ages and stages of life. My sisters and I all share a love for that fun, comfortable, statement-making style — pieces that feel good and stand out in the best way.

This boutique also represents the kind of life I want for my family — one built around balance, creativity, and meaningful work. It’s a journey we’re taking together, and a legacy I hope to share with those I love most.
